Story...
I was born and raised in British Columbia and have lived all along the east coast of Vancouver Island since the age of five. After growing up in Campbell River, and spending time in Victoria and Courtenay, I have settled in the Nanaimo region for nearly 20 years. I have fallen in love with the central location to all things fun and adventurous - hiking, beaches, mountains, and the local music scene.
My Passion...
My journey into the world of photography was sparked by nature itself! I always had a unique way of seeing the world around me and I bought my first SLR camera so I could try to capture it. I was rarely without my camera wherever I went, and began offering
After winning a photo contest and being published in a magazine, I was introduced to the world of concert photography! I was then selected to join the crew of my first music festival, and I never looked back! The moment I stepped into electrifying atmosphere of the Rifflandia music festival, my senses were enveloped by a whirlwind of sound, color, and energy that ignited a newfound love.
I found that whether it be a band on stage, or a family in a beautiful natural space, my passion was to document these raw, unscripted moments of connection between people.
Since then, I've come to specialize in a blend of artful portraits along with candid photos which showcase your special day like it's own festival. No matter the occasion, I'll capture the moments so you can enjoy making the memories!
